History Portal

History often looks like a list of names and dates that you keep in mind until the exam. This portal asks one question across eleven epochs instead: who rules, on what grounds, and who gets a say? From the Athenian assembly through medieval Hamburg and the Enlightenment to German reunification, Prof. Chronos and a cast of historical figures guide you through sources, maps, simulations and timelines. Every epoch closes with a task page that works the material with the operators of the three requirement levels: place it, analyse it, judge it. What remains at the end is not a stock of facts but a reasoned position of your own.
