Excel Trainer
A gamified Excel trainer specifically for AVM classes (vocational preparation for migrants). The application simulates an Excel-like interface directly in the browser and guides students through 24 practical exercises in 6 difficulty levels.
From simple formulas (SUM, AVERAGE) to complex functions (VLOOKUP, nested IF) ā each exercise is tailored to the prior knowledge and language skills of students with refugee backgrounds. Progress is saved locally, a points system motivates continued learning.
The project was born from frustration that students only passively watch Excel on a projector. Now they practice interactively ā and classroom results have measurably improved.
